uhm i never supported dlsu but i do admire their team!!!strong team!!!but this team gave me heartache when they beaten my fave team feu!!!haixt super lungkot ko nung time na yun but ok lng that’s part of the game you win some you loose some!!!sana this uaap season feu vs dlsu ulet!!!!i would love to!!! but honestly ha sana walang maoffend gusto ko ust magchamp!!!but kung dlsu ok lang din because they deserve it naman and i really appreciate the kind of game na pinapakita nila!!!galing and they really prove that they deserve the title!!!

Is this the last yr of Alarca, Mercado and Martinez playing for the DLSU WVT?
Martinez is in her last year of eligibility. The rest have the option to return as there was a year when DLSU was suspended from all UAAP sports.
i had the chance to talk to isabella lepping and i asked her regarding the graduating players of dlsu wvt.. she said that it is only kaye martinez and camille cerveza who are graduating and alarca & mercado are just only on their 4th year.. i know that it is already stated above their playing years but since i had a talk with bella, i got confused again. she even said that they are rooting for a 3-peat since alarca and mercado will still be with them next season..
Ok to avoid any more confusion, the playing years does not necessarily mean “uaap years”. In 2006, DLSU was suspended from UAAP play but the team joined in tournaments such as the shakey’s V-league. So that’s why players like jacq and steph still have the option to play one more year in the UAAP even if they were already with the team since 2005.
ah ok, now i understand.. but how about in vleague? since dlsu did not join the last 2 conferences, does that mean that illa and michelle datuin can still play in the vleague as regular players if ever they will join again?
They are no longer students thus they cannot play anymore as a regular member. The V-leagues is a minor tournament and DLSU is not committed to participate there as the league schedule conflicts with the players’ studies and training for the UAAP.

ahh.. tnx for the info.. so it’s not true that dlsu was banned in vleague? because there have been so many issues regarding the absence of dlsu in vleague.. first was because of injuries after the uaap finals.. but then again, i had a chance to talk to one of the lady spikers and she told me that the reason why they did not join the vleague is because of the guest players.. because in that case, they won’t be able to utilize their rookies.. still, i think, the lady spikers doesn’t have an official statement regarding their absence in vleague?
anyway, thank you so much for providing us inside stories..
